So i have learned that when you play with the curves on pictures you can get a pretty cool effect. I like using it best on flowers. I have enhanced a lot of my flower pictures by using curves. The picture that you see here was selected using the quick select tool and then I but the black and white effect on. I then changed the curves. I played around with them for a while and settled on 87 output and 153 Input. This just really made the colors pop and livened up the colors (even livened up black)!
I agree! I think using the curves adjustment, especially on flowers, helps to bring out the vibrance of any colors used.
